Building human-centred design capability and creative confidence across Z
We encourage our teams to get involved in practical and interactive sessions to learn our innovation methodology. Our capability programme starts with an interactive two-hour 101 workshop introducing human-centred design as a precursor to our Innovation Masterclass.

The Innovation Masterclass is a three-day workshop that’s available to all Z employees and focuses on building creative confidence, teaching human-centred design tools and methods, and aligning this approach with our business objectives. Over the three days, we focus on getting our people to think differently to solve problems while working on an experimental mindset shift and building firm wide innovation capability. At each Masterclass, we bring together 24 people from across the business to tackle a real Z customer problem, and participants leave with a new set of tools, templates and method cards to begin working differently.
The capability programme also offers full-day immersion sessions in human-centred design for our teams to work together on business challenges and get a taste for the tools and techniques available to them.
